Summary/Abstract: The main task of this study is to resume the interest in original Bulgarian pop, rock and jazz music, combining folklore with a modern contemporary sound in the song and instrumental works of Bulgarian authors. To analyze the ways in which authors implement their compositional ideas and the selection of performers of their works. Different research methods were used. Tracking of scientific works and publications related to the topic. Analysis of original note and sound material. Reaching conclusions by comparing and comparing works by Bulgarian and foreign authors. Some of the analyses and conclusions are made on the basis of the rich personal experience of performing and concert activities as a conductor, composer and instrumentalist of the author of this study. The idea of this work is that the authors and their works that are analyzed will be promoted and their creativity could enter into practical use in the educational process to create criteria and artistic aesthetic taste during the training of students. Bulgarian folklore is studied, studied, interpreted in many foreign educational fields. This determines the need to analyze its use in pop, rock and jazz music in our country. Folklore and segments of it such as melody and metro rhythmic, have long entered deeply into the work of our authors of symphonic, chamber, choral and popular music. Ideas from it are also used by foreign authors of orchestral and popular music. His good knowledge combined with commercial styles in music such as pop, rock and jazz will contribute to the development of competitive singers and instrumentalists and will increase the quality of their training. The aim of this study is to trace, analyze and put into use in the learning process original samples of the work of Bulgarian authors using in a peculiar way folk song and instrumental creativity, which are used to skillfully weave Bulgarian folklore into the style of pop, rock and jazz sound. And on this basis to seek and require optimal artistic performance of the works in a new digital sound environment.
