Summary/Abstract: The stylistics „Danse macabre” is one of the bright and impactful artefacts of the medieval western European culture, which notably has incorporated into the cultural history of the civilization from the New Age till our Modernity. Visual symbols and allegorical image of the „macabre” plot has turned into constant size for the meaningful presentation of death. The theme of death, as bright emotional manifestation of life itself, is getting the imagination of the composers excited with the possibility for sound – depicting presentation of this rite of the being. In this article we are exploring the variety of creative intonations and associative visuals used in the works of musical art in XIX, XX and XXI centuries
