Summary/Abstract: The present study tried to presents ome specific theological elements in the thought of father Gala Galaction, such as the Resurrection of the Lord, the honoring of the Mother of God, the virtue of faith and behavior in the church. What we know about Father Gala Galaction is the fact that long before his ordination he preached his first sermon in the church in Radu Vodă, on a Sunday, February 17, 1902. After his ordination, he preached for years in a row in the Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest and in many other churches, and in the last decades of his life he spoke from the pulpit of the Church "St. Ilie"- Colței Inn, where his good colleague and friend Archimandrite Iuliu Scriban († Jan. 4, 1949) was a parish priest. He was present as a clergy man and preacher during the Spiritual Retreat Weeks organized annually by Bishop-Vicar Tit Simedrea for the priests of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, in the period 1927-1932.The structure of the sermons, i.e. the disposition of the formal elements of their parts, of the introduction, treatment and conclusion, is classical, and theart of their homiletic composition is found in the logic and functions of each part, in the natural and engaging way in which the preachere stablishes the connections between them, in the teaching clearly exposed, which enlivens the parts and the whole of the speeches. We find that, through the current topics discussed, through the information brought, through the predilection of the texts from the Holy Scripture, through the appeal to the teaching of the Holy Fathers, through knowledge of a broad intellectual orientation, the author offers the listeners countless lessons and exhortations, to induce them to follow the words of the Gospel. The foundation of the truths of faith, with clarity, in an own style, concise and authoritative, but at the same time easily accessible and parental, give the speeches a reference value in the field of Romanian Orthodox homiletics. The style of the sermons is simple, clear, harmonious, picturesque, natural and precise. It ist he spoken style, notthe written style of the book sweread, noting that the themes were pondered for a long time, until the ideas were articulated organically, logically, crystallized in the author'sthinking.
