O incursiune în domeniul teoriilor implicite de personalitate
On implicit personality theories

Summary/Abstract: Implicit personality theories are a very prolific field of research for nowadays psychologists, especially for the cognitive ones. The present paper makes no claim of capturing the whole dynamic of this subject; however, it is rather a comprehensive review of the most important ideas and approaches during the development of this research field. In the first phase of theory building the existence of implicit personality theories was rather intuitive than proved. The conclusion of the present paper is that, given the current orientation of research programs nowadays and their results, the existence of implicit personality theories is beyond any doubts, but it is the legacy to future research to capture new and important characteristics of them.
