Summary/Abstract: European Commission launches the European Year of the Volunteer 2011 which aims to reduce barriers to volunteering in the awareness of the EU and the Europeans of the importance and value of these activities in Romania, volunteering is an activity public interest on its own initiative undertaken by an individual on behalf of others, without receiving a material.
