Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses G.F. Shershenevich’s theoretical approaches to building a system of exclusive rights. The author examines his concept of exclusive rights, a concept of “intellectual property”. The article explores the legal nature of the principle of truth, as well as puts forward the idea of the need to implement this principle in the current legislation on the intellectual property rights.
