ASSESSMENT OF INTERREGIONAL ECONOMIC DIFFERENTIATION OF NORTHERN REGIONS

Summary/Abstract: The reasons for regional economic differentiation in the northern regions of Russia are analyzed, and the level of differentiation is estimated. Such indicators as gross domestic product, gross regional product per capita, average monthly nominal wage, and per capita income were analyzed and assessed. It was concluded that the level of differentiation is high, and it may negatively affect both social and economic development of the regions
