PRINCIPLES OF REGIONAL RETAIL NETWORKS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Summary/Abstract: Introduction: The authors have discussed the principles that will ensure development of regional retail networks (RRTN) and proposed structural circuit for forming the principles of RRTN sustainable development. Purpose: to identify principles which implementation will ensure the formation of regional retail sales networks based at sustainability. Methods: In order to research principles of steady development of regional retail trade networks, we used different methods of empirical and theoretical research. Results.One of the basic problems that need to be addressed to ensure the regional retail sales networks formation on the basis of sustainability is to develop principles on which development of RRTN systems and software should take place, at the same time, corresponding with the socio-economic and environmental security in the region. Principles reflect the essential characteristics that define the structure and interaction of the components of each system to ensure the performance of the RRTN system functions. Conclusion. Implementation of the above principles in the formation of RRTN contributes to the effective development and improvement of socio-economic and environmental security in the region. It will lead to the quality of life improvement and meet the basic needs of existing population and future generations, as well as environmental management and preservation of ecosystems.
