Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issue of the teachers’ professional attitude development. Experimental results on teachers’ professional attitude enhancement, forwarded though subjective attitudes’ development, are presented. The emphasis is placed on the changes observed in the teachers’ professional position in the course of educational training: “Teacher’s role in the development of pupil’s autonomy and school activity”. The goal of this course was to develop subjective attitudes in teachers about their personal work and the work of the children. The article reveals different types of professional attitudes characteristic of teachers. Subjective and non-subjective types of attitude are described. An experimental and questionnaire methods were used in the course of the research. Employed statistical methods included factor analysis, content analysis, and Student’s T-test for paired samples. The obtained results revealed that by the end of the experimental study the number of subjective attitudes increased, and the teacher subjective position became more emphasized.
