Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the most impressive cases of the French positivism’s reception in the Bulgarian philosophical thought in the end of the 19-th and the beginning of 20-th century and the principal lines of its influence, concerning different fields of knowledge – sociology, philosophy of history, aestetics and history of literature. The conclusion is that the Comte’s and Taine’s reception by Bulgarian thinkers as d-r Krastev, St. Mikhaylovsky, Iv. D. Shishmanov, N. Alexiev and d-r Al. Nedyalkov contributes to the enlargement of the Bulgarian philosophical thought and its transformation in a field of the European cultural space.
