Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of types of narration in three initial novels "Far-distant Country" («Дальний край»), "Golden Ornament" («Золотой узор») and "The House in Passija" («Дом в Пасси») by В. К. Zajtsev. Each of these novels has its peculiar type of narration corresponding to specific features of three types of narration, namely, fairy tale, impersonal and imaginary narrations, which are established by В. К. Zajtsev. The article also touches upon В. К. Zajtsev's style including spontaneity narration, impersonality, usage of fairy tale elements, lyric digression. The article says, that types of narration in the texts of В. К. Zajtsev's initial novels are interconnected, and it is conditioned by abundance of lyrical elements.
