Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the specific religiousness of Pavel Florensky - one of the most prominent persons in the era of the Russian intellectual renaissance in the beginning of the twentieth century. Various opinions disposing Florensky's basic religious and philosophical attitudes between the "stylized Orthodoxy" (as Berdyaev characterized his main work "The Pillar and Foundation of Truth ", 1914) and the "new religious consciousness (shared namely Ьу Berdyaev, Merezhkovsky and &) are discussed in details. The author naintans that Pavel Florensky's Sophiology had nothing to do with the destructivism and gnosticism of the above-mentioned "new religious consciousness".
