Summary/Abstract: We are in a new stage of globalization and internationalization of the world and companies, where talent and brainpower are becoming the predominant currency. The traditional management paradigms which focused on productivity and efficiency were designed for 20 th century economy. In the past two decades, politics and technology have changed the world, and total world are extended from the new global economy.Today, the only meaningful assets are knowledge assets and the only meaningful form of capital is intellectual capital. In this new extent the traditional model of recruiting, managing and retaining employees is outdated. The over-riding factor today is talent and phenomenon “the war for the talent “. Talent management implements integrated strategies or systems designed to increase workplace productivity by developing improved process for attracting, developing, retaining and utilizing people with the required skills and aptitude to meet current and future business needs. Talent managers today must copy with a world of change and contrast global abundance but local scarcity of talent, and rising demand for new skills aggravated by demographic pressures and educational shortcomings. Althgough, many organizations begun to recognize the important role talent plays in their success, few are managing talent strategically. Leaders need to identity and invest in the critical talent that provides a platform for success, growth and new opportunities. Organizations must build a positive precence in the minds of employees and dynamically engage them. The talent powered organizations is an organizations that invest in building distinctive capabilities in managing talent to produce high caliber managers, extraordinary results for the company.
