Summary/Abstract: The concept of stability and security operations, under the conceptual development of NATO as stabilization and reconstruction, involves the conduct by a multinational force of a series of operations, missions and activities through a comprehensive approach, envisaging inter-agency cooperation with civilian authorities and organizations in order to accomplish the transit of a state or a certain area from the end of the conflict to peace, a stage favoring long term development of the entire society and the consolidation of the legitimate right of the individual. The NATO logistic support for stabilization and reconstruction operations starts from an integrated approach of the national and multinational efforts developed in the context of the adaptation of the logistic flow to the strategic distances from the domestic territories.
