Summary/Abstract: The study is a critical analysis of basic guidelines for ideas journal “Putokaz” was based on, primarily attitudes and ideas of its founders and their cooperators, most of all those of Safet Krupić and Skender Kulenović. At the same time is contains critical observations of leftist, Marxist ideas, which were offered as the only real alternative in finding solution to the most difficult national issues, which showed to what extent people misunderstood the true origin of hardships Bosniak were facing at the time.
