Summary/Abstract: This article is a recensio on the book of famous Russian scientist and environmental lawyer Michail Brinchuk, entitled "Principles of Environmental Law" (Moskow, 2013, 208 p.). It has been carried out an analysis of separate chapters of this book as well as some theoretical conclusions in the field of environmental law as a branch of law.
