CONSIDERATIONS ON COMPLEMENTARY MEANS OF EXPORT FINANCING

Summary/Abstract: In general terms, financing consists of all the mechanisms, techniques and instruments used în order to gain the financial resources needed for social and economic activities. The decision whether to finance or not is determined by the same guiding principles, both în the national and în the international economic environment. However, international financing is more complex due to several elements (international transactions involve the use of two or more currencies, leading to currency rate risks; financing institutions and mechanisms are specific for each country and each legal system; international financing techniques are adapted to different types of transactions: exports, imports, international cooperation projects, international investments).
