Colour: Factor of Solving Creative Tasks in Bulgarian and World Video Arts

Summary/Abstract: The paper explores how artists in the field of video arts use such a visual tool as colour to solve in a best possible way various creative tasks. A definition of video art is given to define as precisely as possible the subject matter of the study. The methods of describing and analysing colour in video arts are also given, based on an article by S. Eisenstein. Analyses are made of colours in various video arts as well as comparative analyses of examples of Bulgarian and world video artworks. The article is intended for those interested in Bulgarian video arts.
