Summary/Abstract: Waldorf Education was founded at the beginning of the XX-th century by dr. Rudolf Steiner. Criticizing the old theories about education, Steiner developed a new education system centered on the needs of the child and his personal abilities which lead to his future professional orientation. Harmony, rhythm, diverse senses stimulation, interactive games, fine motricity and others stand at the basis of Waldorf Education System transforming learning into a complex multidisciplinary process where the child is activated and enthusiastic as the center of education itself. The specific methods of education are studied during an intense internal training, that allows one to receive the legal right to use Waldorf international brand. All Waldorf Schools must receive a regular functioning note according to international standards given by authorized Waldorf Federation in each country.
