Summary/Abstract: The article is about the history of the Salesian Congregations’ Minor Seminary in Ląd. The Seminary was established in 1921 as a place for men wanted to became priests but couldn’t continue their education in public school. They were called “ Sons of Mary” in the salesian tradition. Secondary school level was assured in Ląd as well as vocational development attendance. Author of the script gives informations about difficulties in the reconstruction works aimed at adepting the cisterian monastery building to the needs of the educational character of the place. He also describes the efforts to gain a public law for salesian school and the sorrow incidents before the seminary had been closed. Moreover the article provides lot of information about the management and animation’s style in the seminary. Tutors and teachers’ statistics, amount of students and their social and teritorial background are also given. The presentation shows the educational and dyscyplinary process, religious upbringing proposal and, typically for preventive system, method of spending free time in the theatre, sport or another interest’s group. Small valuation and achievements’ summary ends the article.
