Summary/Abstract: Every religious vocation receives special gifts of God. Salesians answer to those gifts with commitment of following the way of Christian sanctification and perfection. Religious formation is a continuous effort, permanent collaboration with the Holy Spirit on the assimilation to Jesus Christ; it’s a way of answering the call of God. Salesians, called by the Holy Spirit to work together with Giovanni Bosco, continuously receive strength from this Holy Spirit for faithful completion of their mission and personal sanctification. For these reasons the religious congregation is a charismatic reality and sees the Holy Spirit as the principal responsible for his mission in the history: this reality is realized to such extent to which Salesian Society keeps alive the fidelity of His inspiration.
