Speech praxis as an expression of language culture

Summary/Abstract: Speech praxis, considered in relation to the communicative function of language, reflects its connection with a particular community. Its essence is not exhausted by language literacy and culture. The study of speech reveals speakers’ manner of thinking, the differences in their opinions and in their attitudes to the surrounding world. As an expression of the relation language : speech speech praxis makes explicit the degree of language culture as an ability to perceive, understand, retain and impart any kind of linguistic information.
