Summary/Abstract: The present article, based on the report presented by the author at the International Congress in Regensburg, aims at analysing the relationship between the Constitutional Court of Romania and the judicial system, especially the apex court – the High Court of Cassation and Justice. This analysis is illustrated with examples taken from the jurisprudence of the two courts and the author concludes that a true dialogue between the two systems is possible and necessary.
