ЭТНОКУЛЬТУРНОЕ ПРОСТРАНСТВО ЛИЧНЫХ ИМЕН В ТЮРКО-ТАТАРСКИХ ДАСТАНАХ
ETHNOCULTURAL SPACE OF PERSONAL NAMES IN TURK-TATAR EPOSES

Summary/Abstract: Characteristic features of the ethnocultural space of a personal name in the Turk-Tatar eposes are considered. The importance of theethnolinguistic research of the ethnocultural space of personal names is substantiated. Personal names of the epos heroes are folklorearchaisms of the Turk-Tatar language. They create prerequisites necessary for the reconstruction of prayazykovy system and; therefore,their ethno- cultural research promotes emergence of new tendencies in the language. The epos’s personal names are understoodas ethnocultural signs bearing information on the ethnic structure, on the spiritual and material essence of the people’s culture, onreligious and philosophical views, customs and ceremonies inherent to the life of the ethnos in focus. Using dastan’s materials, theinterconnection of single and general concepts of personal names with common nouns, considering their implied meaning, was revealed.Common features of naming and renaming traditions characteristic of “dastanakh” are also studied. Particular significance ofthe dastan hero’s personal name is revealed.
