Summary/Abstract: Primitive reflexes are formed in foetal life, their role is significant during labour and they are still present after birth. Their presence results in neuromotor immaturity. It is manifested by difficulties in the speech development, learning and behavioural disorders. The article presents relations between remaining active primitive reflexes and straitened development of the motor coordination, listening and visual skills and the process of acquiring speech and language. It is evidently related to functioning of child at school, which is the institution, that gathers children, youth and adults, who together aim at achievements in the process of education.
