The Troparia in the Composition of the Prologue

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problem whether there were troparia in the primary composition of the Slavonic Prologue. The analysis is based on seven copies of the Prologue (one Russian, three Bulgarian and three Serbian manuscripts).The great textological differences between the manuscripts and the comparison with some copies of the Menaion and the Apostolos show that the troparia were added to the Prologue later and that they were taken from the Menaion and the Apostolos.
