Summary/Abstract: Lutheran Parish in Kielce arose in 1835 through local community of this denomination. At the beginning it was not numerous but after 1815 several German colonies with people of Lutheran denomination occurred nearby the town of Kielce. Until the World War I 9 pastors had been holding an office in the town. Their attitude towards the parishioners was dissimilar. Some of them were held in great respect such as priests Edward Lembke and Henryk Zander. Others could not find common ground with local community. The parish in Kielce was small and it was functioning thanks to support of German colonists. After the World War II number of members of the church decreased and eventually in 1968 it stopped functioning independently within the framework of Lutheran Parish Church.
