ON THE NECESSITY OF COMPULSORY INSURANCE OF CIVIL LIABILITY OF INDIVIDUAL SUBJECTS IN THE FIELD OF SPORTS

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to one of the topical problems in modern civil law, i.e. compulsory insurance of civil liability of individual subjects in the field of sports. The author proves the necessity to reform the current legislation in this area and draws attention to the existing contradictions between legislative and local regulation in this field. The need for introduction of compulsory insurance of civil liability for certain categories of persons in sports with the purpose to create additional legal guarantees and to minimize the existing legal contradictions is substantiated.
