The Fantasy as a genre-thematic canon of the Russian fiction

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to identify a fantasy literature in terms of the Russian literary tradition. This research contains the analysis of scientific points of view on this issue. The article also raises a question about a definition of the genre and the fiction (popular literature). The main results of our study is the fact that the Russian fantasy literature is the one of genre-thematic canons.
