Summary/Abstract: The description of the French Simple Future Tense from the linguistictemporality poin of view allows highlighting the enunciative dimensionof this tense, at phrasal and textual levels. The use of this tense shows theclose connection between its etymology and its temporal and stylisticvalues. The inventory of the temporal values of the French Simple FutureTense allows us to understand the linguistic temporality in relation to thecategories of time and aspect
