Summary/Abstract: The article discusses some specifics of the contract to provide services. This type of contracts entered widely in civil and commercial sector but theoretical studies on the issue are still missing. The study makes a historical comparison of different types of contracts, through which services are provided. Comprehensive analysis at various types of contracts for services which have legal regulation in Bulgarian legislation is made. Finally, it is inferred that the contract to provide services is not a different agreement, and exists as a variety of other types of contracts.
