Summary/Abstract: Criminal procedural knowledge associated with establishing factual circumstances in criminal cases is usually associated with the use of statutory means. As a rule, they are legally defined and limited - for example, the evidence. When disclosing the circumstances of the offense the public authority may use other methods, such as intuition. The latter has never been unquestioned in our penal doctrine and problems in this regard have not been dealt with in depth. The interdisciplinary approach to research requires a comprehensive picture of this - how the cognitive process unfolds and what the place of intuition in it is.
