Summary/Abstract: The article covers the problem of the mutual influence of contemporary art and choreography. The author briefly analyzes historical and cultural premises that caused transformations in contemporary choreographic art, the newest cultural processes that influenced it, the development of technology and change in philosophical views of society. Symbolic examples prove choreography to enter all spheres of art. At the same time it should be noted, that the newest synthetic arts influence choreography, urging it to the changes of its own.
