Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the peculiarities of confessional life in Serbia in 1906-1912. Based on the church journals, such as “Theological Journal” and “Church bulletin”, the state and the activity of different confessions were analyzed as well as their influence on the society. Besides, the viewpoints of the editorial board and the journalists of the journals on the questions of religious policy of Serbian government were researched as well as their assessment of the activities of Serbian church periodical press. This provides an opportunity to understand how the events of confessional life were presented to Russian readers and how the press was forming the public opinion in the society. As a result, it is found out that these journals had a great interest for presenting confessional situation in Serbia. The analysis of Russian confessional press provides an opportunity to clarify the peculiarities of the authors’ viewpoints on the question of interconfessional relations, and their attitude to the church policy of both Serbian and Austrian governments.
