Summary/Abstract: The article examines the reflection within the context of a specific pedagogical study on the formation of research skills in students by teaching the subject of “Man and Nature”. Methods to establish the level of development of specific research skills have been discussed, particularly those to establish the level of development of the ability to carry out an adequate assessment of the experiment’s conduct and the skill of relating the result with pre-formulated assumption. An analysis has been presented being based on an empirical research that has been done and there have been drawn relevant conclusions.
