Summary/Abstract: Bosnia and Herzegovina’s trajectory has been consistently and evidently downwards since 2006, with the pace of descent accelerating every year. Post-war optimism disappeared long ago to be replaced by a fatalistic cynicism. Despite this, the international community seems content to operate on the premise that the prospect of Euro-Atlantic integration is sufficient to transform BiH into a self-sustaining and stable democracy.
