EXPERTISE IN INVESTIGATIONS FOR FORESTRY AGAINST FORESTRY

Summary/Abstract: Crime against forestry are characterized not only by their high degree of social menace, but also these illegal activities substantially damage the legally protected rights of state and citizens and environment and wildlife`s habitat. In the course of legal investigation of this kind of activities is really important to rely on expert`s competent conclusion. Author analyzes the basic types of expert reports – evaluating, forest-scientific, technical, graphological, dactiloscopic and outlines the different tasks to be solved by them. The article deals also with the problem of legal basis of expert activities and proposes an interesting decision de lege ferenda.
