Summary/Abstract: The Zossima family, originally from the Epir, where it is known since the eighteenth century, has spread to Greece, Russia, Italy and Wallachia. Over time it has played an important role in cultural and social life. The Mexican branch, despite not knowing precisely all its ancestors, had by one of its representatives an active role during the Revolution of 1848. Today extinct, it remains in the memory of the posterity by its activity in the socio-cultural fields
