Summary/Abstract: Among the determinants of development influence of cultural factors and human capital is underlined on the attractiveness of specific regions and tourism. The aim of the development is the answer to the question whether in Cracow festivals have an impact on the development of the cultural and tourist city. The author tried to describe the most numerous attention-grabbing of tourists festivals and cultural events and make the impact analysis on the development of the city of Cracow. The basis for scientific analysis are statistical and industry literature.
