Summary/Abstract: The article is a reflection on the culture security, taking into account its conditions and significance in the context of the science of national security. Author evaluates the safety culture of the Republic of Poland after 1989, paying attention to the characteristics and development prospects in the international environment. Over the past centuries environment of Polish culture security have been under significant changes that have affected perceptions of research carried out in the area of security and defence.
