Summary/Abstract: Results from a research on titrological lexical strategies in periodicals, describing Elena Poptodorova’s cream theft from a Polish airport, is presented in this article. The case has been covered by our media for 3 weeks now. 22 newspapers have been used for the purpose of this research – national and regional daily and monthly ones. Only titles, containing the word ‘Elena Poptodorova’ have been taken into account.
