Summary/Abstract: Using the integrationist press reaction towards the pogroms of the early 1880s asa background, the author tries to show the impact of the pogrom in Białystok in 1906 on theintegrationist milieu. The article analyzes both the Polish-Jewish literature and press articlesas well as the way they depicted the Białystok pogrom. The Polish-Jewish reaction has beenjuxtaposed with opinions published in the Polish press.
