Structure of Funding Sources Depending on Financing Aim in Small and Medium Enterprises in the Light of Empirical Studies

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of the link between capital structure and the purposeof their use among SMEs in Poland. The purpose of this article is to determine the structure ofcapital in Polish SMEs and how different fund sources are used to finance a variety ofbusiness purposes. The capital structure of SMEs dominate the own funds, between foreigncapital are essential sources such as a loan or lease - this structure is consistent withtheoretical models. The study showed that the different fund sources significantly differ withrespect to financing aim, the most universal importance has bank credit.a
