Summary/Abstract: In 1962, Yugoslavia’s socio-political and economic life was characterized by increasing efforts on the part of all social forces to solve the various problems which had emerged as a result of the slowing rate of economic growth in the preceding year and in the first half of 1962, as compared with earlier years, and to remove various objective and subjective weaknesses noted in that period. At the same time efforts were continued to develop and strengthen the fundamental instructions underlying the country’s social and economic system.
