Summary/Abstract: This is the second of three articles surveying research on the creative society carried out in Lithuania. It discusses what philosophical, aesthetic, sociological, communicative, ethical, economic, legal and organizational aspects of the creative society have shown up during this research. It exhibits the interaction of the creator and the creative society, the obstacles to the propagation of creativity, as well as communicative, legal, organisational etc. prerequisites for this development. It demonstrates: the distinctiveness of the novel creative society by showing differences or interactions between culture industries and creative industries, social capital and creative capital, the worker in the industrial society and the creator in the postindustrial society, modern „genius“ creativity and creation as pluralistic, purposely organised activity, classical organizational identity and Creative center identity etc.
