Summary/Abstract: One of the fundamental rights of every European citizen is the right to petition to the European Parliament under the TFEU. In the following research petitions are seen as a useful source of information for detecting potential violations and breaches in the implementation of EU legislation, as well as a useful tool for better assessing the impact that EU legislation has on people’s daily lives.
