Summary/Abstract: The archaeological finds presented in this article come mostly from the ‘Extra Muros’ area, situated on a plateau, west of the city Argamum, outside the precinct dated during the 6th century AD. According to the local archaeological researches were attested a number of cores of habitation, dispersed over a large area and dated within a long period, from the end of the Hellenistic and the beginning of the Roman period until the late reign of Valens. Other artefacts come from ‘La Zimbru’, approx. 4 km north of the city, on the shore of Razim lake, towards the ancient Ad Salices (Sălcioara). The analyzed belt buckles and appliqués are well known types in the specialized literature, such as the ‘Sucidava’ type. Besides these common variants we also meet uncommon pieces due to their technical achievement, symbols or their rarity inside the men-tioned area.
