Summary/Abstract: The analysis of historical development of question of teosis is done in the article. Teosis is determined as a way from the man of corporel to the man transformed and his height in a spirit and truth. Paid attention to the studies about the difference of essence and energy as a necessary step for the correct understanding of teosis.
