Outsourcing activities of hospitals − a review of research

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to identify problems of research concerning outsourcing activities used by hospitals. Especially the relationship with costs reduction was highlighted. Polish nad foreign literature was reviewed on the base of keywords: outsourcing and hospitals. It should be claimed that the issues of outsourcing in hospitals are important and a current problem which is still being analysed by the researches. The problems refer to the identity of outsourcing, indication disadvantage and advantage of using outsourcing, but mainly the analysis of its profitability.
