On Variational Principle of Development Themes in Applied Music (on the Materials of Сinema)

Summary/Abstract: The article based on the analysis of three different genres tag movies the peculiarities of the implementation of variational principle of the development of musical themes in applied music. The material for the analysis are the selected films directors GI Vyrypaeva ("Euphoria", Russia, 2006, the composer A. Gainullin), JP Jeunet ("Amelie", France, 2001, composer J. Tiersen), Jean Vigo ("Atalanta" in 1934, the composer M. Jobert). The author is guided by the idea that in the secondary elements of music in the media text, music and films created is linked to the form, the structure of the logic of the plot and visuals. However, in some cases, you may notice the presence of the principles of development and arrangement of the material close historical patterns of autonomous music charts. Variations as a form and variation as one of the methods of confirming have their status in the music application. Musical compositions of many films in varying degrees based on it. In the film "Euphoria" the whole composition is based on the variational transformation of one subject, thus, the theme itself is also established on the basis of variant germination second intonation. That variational manifests itself at the level of the structuring of the theme song and music composition. Variant development of the main musical theme, introducing in discrete sound track of the film features the variation form, and is interconnected with the plot and visuals, solid composition which is based on "the variant rereading" the same emotional state, swept the protagonists. Let’s name it is euphoria.
